“I just want to make people laugh. That’s all I want to do,” sobbed Kathy Griffin in one of her many, many, many self-pitying public statements.
It is claimed that she has apologized, a patently untrue statement. Griffin posted a statement to her twitter followers, claiming to be sorry, and saying that she went too far because she’s “an artist” (right), and begging for forgiveness.
One problem: an apology is supposed to be addressed to the wronged party –in this case President Donald Trump, and his family, especially his 11-year-old son Barron.
But clapped-out old unfunny alleged comedian Kathy Griffin would rather cut off her own head than apologize to the President.
Griffin said she has received death threats following the incident. “I’m teasing the President. This is America and you shouldn’t have to die for it. The death threats are constant and they are detailed and they are serious and they are specific. Today it’s me and tomorrow it could be you.”
Uh-huh. Tomorrow it could be you if you do a mock-up of an ISIS-style execution of the President. Which I guess means that old Kath hasn’t been singled out at all. Funny, that.
