It’s good that Comey is history.
This is a man who, to give one small example, saw nothing questionable in Clinton aide Huma Abedin sending classified emails to a disgraced former member of Congress so he could make hard copies of them and send them back to her.
Huma Abedin, head of the US chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood Ladies Auxiliary, is herself without adequate security clearance to handle some of the classified emails she forwarded to Carlos Danger, aka Anthony Wiener, her husband. And surely he has no security clearance.
Weiner copied those emails, and then sent them back to his wife to give to her boss, the Secretary of State, and later, the Democrat nominee for the Presidency of the United States.
The then-head of the FBI James Comey saw nothing amiss in this set-up since Huma didn’t act like she was doing anything wrong –she did not, for example, wear a trenchcoat and a fake mustache when forwarding the emails, so it was impossible for Comey to “prove intent.” And after all, how else could Hillary Clinton possibly manage to obtain paper copies of her classified emails? Huh? Huh?
Now we find that Andrew McCabe, the acting director of the FBI since Comey’s ouster, is the husband of Dr. Jill McCabe, who received nearly $500,000 in campaign contributions from a PAC controlled by the wife of Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, a close friend and political ally of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Jill McCabe made an unsuccessful bid for State Senator with help from McAuliffe, who was Clinton’s campaign manager in her unsuccessful 2008 presidential run. He also, as Governor of Virginia, pardoned up to 60,000 felons in his state in time for them to vote this past November.
Andrew McCabe was put in charge of the investigation into Clinton’s mishandling of classified emails, but only after his wife had lost her bid for office, which is supposed to make it all okay.
In January 2017, Michael E. Horowitz, Inspector General of the Department of Justice, announced he would be looking into whether McCabe should have been recused from the Hillary Clinton email case.
So now we have an acting Director of the FBI with family connections to the ClintonSwamp, who was, laughably enough, in charge of the so-called investigation into Clinton emails.
No wonder McCabe had such a smarmy attitude as he contradicted the administration’s characterization of Comey as having lost the support of the Bureau’s employees. He spoke of the “dedicated men and women of the FBI” continuing the job of investigating alleged Russian interference in the election. I’m sure there are such employees of the FBI.
But what partisan political hack McCabe means is that the partisan Democrat functionaries who infest the agency are committed to finding some malfeasance, any malfeasance, on the part of President Trump to thoroughly discredit him, no matter how long it takes, or how much of the resources of the Bureau it requires, by any means necessary.
Gurgle, gurgle, gulp.
