“This Girl Took a Selfie with Anti-Muslim Protesters” and Turned Out to be A Vicious AntiSemite

So 22-year-old Zakia Belkhiri and other Muslims decided to take selfies with them. Belkhiri told BuzzFeed News she took the pictures to show that "we can live together, not [just] next to each other, but with each other".

Actually, Zakia Belkhiri is a woman, aged 22 years –which in Islamic lands may prove old enough to be a grandmother.

On a recent holiday in Belgium, Belkhiri took selfies in front of a demonstration by about 40 members of the conservative Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest) Party. The demonstation took place in Antwerp, site of a Muslim lifestyle expo that weekend. The Party members held signs protesting Halal slaughter and the wearing of hijab, as well as mass Muslim immigration generally.

They held signs that said “Stop Islam” and "No headscarf". The protesters also tried to hand out pork sausages to Muslims passing by.

Belkiri became a social media sensation, with admirers praising her “resistance to hate” and she herself claiming that

When I went to the Muslim Expo and I saw these people demonstrating I immediately thought of taking a selfie with them . . .

It was all a coincidence, nothing was planned, I didn’t even know there was a demonstration! In doing this non-violent action, I wanted to send a positive message and show these people that Muslims are peaceful people.

And now it has become apparent that the Peace Girl™ is in fact an admirer of Adolf Hitler, and posted a number of anti-Semitic tweets in 2012, and 2014, as well as similar comments on Facebook and Ask.fm. She has since deleted the posts, but screenshots show that the only peace this exemplar of Islam is interested in is the peace of the tomb –for select “Others,” of course.

Note that Belkiri doesn’t even bother to pretend that her problem is with Israelis or Zionists. It’s just unapologetic Jew hatred.

In another gem she reveals even more of her loving and peace-loving nature:

Yes, a toothsome blend of racist hatred, cynical self-promotion, and love of money. Or as she says, “I’d love to be an inspiring person, though I know I’m a bit idealistic”.

A neo-nazi site was quick to recognize one of their own:

The story gets better! Belkhiri is an active anti-Zionist! . . .

Yet it was the Belgians holding the demonstration who were relentlessly characterized as far-right.
